GMIS Application for Admission

Admission process to the Early Childhood Education and Elementary Programs:

1. Please call (510) 845-6969 to schedule a parent tour with our GMIS school staff.
2. If you would like to apply to the program, application forms are available at the end of the tour when you visit the school, or can be downloaded from our Web site.
3. In order for your application to be processed, you must submit the completed Application Form with a $75 non-refundable deposit (cash or check).
4. After the application is processed, we will call to schedule an interview visit with your child.
5. The office will send a notification of acceptance.
6. Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of readiness and potential for success in a Montessori classroom. It is equally important that the parents’ educational philosophy is compatible with that of the Global Montessori International School.

The registration process consists of a parent observation visit, a parent-teacher meeting with the applicant, and the submission of a completed application form. Global Montessori welcomes all applicants and does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, belief, disability, ethnicity, or nationality.
